Frontlines: Requiem will be a tie-in of sorts. It tells the story of a different character in the Frontlines universe, someone you haven’t met yet. The protagonist is Colonel Soraya Yamin, an NAC starship commander in her Forties and mother of two. The story takes place during the events in Angles of Attack, and it will provide a lot of backstory to the series. In particular, it shows what’s going on back on and around Earth while Andrew is gallivanting around in space. There will be four issues, and the artists are Ivan Brandon and Paul Erskine.
That’s all I can tell you right now, but I’ll post updates as soon as there’s a page for pre-orders via ComiXology and/or other sources.
Sounds cool! My husband and I will look for it. I loved the novels by the by, just posted my review on Amazon about the first book. One thing bugs me though, didn’t anybody talk to you about water recycling on board your ships? That’s thousands of metric tonnes you had them hauling around for daily usage. Water recycles well, even with our current tech. It also makes great radiation shielding. I’m not trying to be ugly nor have I read through all your blog to see if someone has pointed this out to you. Something you could look into for later books. One final thought when we, as nations engage war and territorial conquest, our technology attempts to surge ahead to outpace our enemies. Therefore our technology would leap forward accordingly.
Do you need a torque wrench to use the restroom while wearing that armor?
oh wow that looks so exciting!
I am now on full alert with my thanks. In audio format, I hope.
