If you would like an early electronic review copy of CHAINS OF COMMAND, the NetGalley link for downloads is now live here. Go download it, read it, review it, and revel in the knowledge that you get to have access to the fourth Frontlines novel almost a month before release. DON’T EVER SAY I NEVER DO ANYTHING FOR YOU.

I’m on holiday and have just finished reading the first 3 books – I quite enjoyed them!
I tried to read the 4th, but apparently I’m not permitted to do so until after my holiday.
If the book is ready & published, why make people wait?
“Pre-order” by introducing fake/false delays is a disgusting business practice (“I’ll gladly pay you next Tuesday for a hamburger today”) inherited from the Movie & Video game industries and has no place in publishing.
Out of pure principle I will not purchase any further books written by you and include my dissatisfaction in my reviews.
I have zero influence over the publication date (which is common practice among ALL publishers.) Marketing materials need to be finished, print runs prepared, hardcovers staged and shipped, and so on. It’s not a “fake/false delay”; the publisher has good logistical reasons to set an official publication date. (And trust me, they’d much rather make money with the book sooner than later.)
Punishing me economically for something out of my control is unfair. Doing so after telling me you enjoyed my first three books…that’s sort of a dick move. I can’t control whatever reviews you leave me (nor do I want to), but if everyone acted like you, you’d have nothing left to read because most writers would quit.
Thank you! Now, of course, I’ll have to reread the previous ones. What a task!!! 🙂
Oh! very nice!
