The first three books in the Frontlines series, which are (chronologically) TERMS OF ENLISTMENT, LINES OF DEPARTURE, and ANGLES OF ATTACK, are currently on sale in the Kindle store for a measly $1.99 a pop. If you’ve been wanting to check out the series, here’s your chance to pick up the first three books for under six bucks total. Why, that’s less than the twenty-ounce cup of foam-topped caffeine sludge you pick up on the way to work every morning!
My Kindle (I suppose knowing my tastes) put the advert for the series on my login screen. I really liked the cover art on Chains of Command so I checked the reviews and purchased all four. So many sci-fi authors visibly struggle with portraying military culture that it really breaks immersion for me. You are not one of those authors and I am very impressed so far. You nail military culture in the same way George R.R. Martin connects with medieval misery. Let’s just hope you write faster than him.
Dang, and I paid full price on release day!! 🙂 LOL
I’m enjoying the whole series. Do you have an overview of the future books in the Frontlines saga? And, some projected publication dates?

Marko,
Well worth the wait. Head and shoulders above the cheaper S/F products. Chains of Command skillfully weaves space warfare with ground combat.
Looking forward to the return to Mars. True to his word, our new LT will train welfare rats. Will some of them be going to Mars as well?
Sincerely,
Roger Klingman
Marko, I finished the set of FOUR this afternoon…while I didn’t take advantage of the $1.99 Kindle specials, all FOUR were worth their regular ebook prices! Great reading; kept me up past midnight THREE straight nights!

They show up as $4.99 for me today. Was it a one-day sale?
Not a problem since I already have all of them. 🙂
Keep up the good writing!
