Today is the day! After almost two years, there’s a new Frontlines novel out. ORDERS OF BATTLE is the seventh volume in the series and picks up a few years after the last book. Things have calmed down a bit for humanity after POINTS OF IMPACT, but the Lankies are still out there, and someone higher up in the chain of command has decided that now’s the time to go looking for them.
ORDERS OF BATTLE is available on the Kindle and in paperback form today. (The Audible audiobook will be delayed until February–see my previous post on that for details.) I hope you pick it up in whichever format you prefer, then read it and maybe leave a review or recommend it to friends. And most importantly, I hope you enjoy returning to the Frontlines universe with Andrew Grayson and his podhead comrades.
Done!
Excellent!
I end up with another night sleeping 4h because (or thanks to)! For some random reasons in my brain I thought this is the last book of the series. Figure out I’m wrong about 80% into it.
Now another year (however it takes) of waiting for Frontlines 9.
Definitely enjoyed the new book. Iโve missed spending time with Andrew Grayson…what a great guy.
Really enjoyed the new book. Your writing is getting tighter, and I couldn’t put it down. The horror was very well done.
PLEASE, do not hang us for so long waiting for the next book. With you since self publishing! Best regards,
Just ordered two copies today, for the friend who got me into this ride as well ๐ Very much looking forward to this, especially now in a time when a little escape from reality soothes the soul more than ever ๐
Thanks a lot!
Firstly, I loved the new direction for this series and can’t wait for the follow-on but I have two questions. Firstly, does the JMB hold 10 rounds (chapter 3) or 20 rounds (chapter 17). Secondly, does an Avenger carry 12 Orions (chapter 9 ) or 8 Orions (chapter 13)?
Seasonal regards to all at the Castle.
finished it yesterday – really liked it (and cried through the first chapter)!
So, when can we expect the next part? Pretty please? ๐
I re-read the whole series before starting this book and I’m glad I did! I really enjoyed the book and I’m excited to see where you are taking the series next. Thank you for your hard work!
Just Finished it then, Loved it. Cant wait for the next one!
Another home run entry in the series. I experienced a brief moment of actual sadness when the book ended because now we have to wait for the next book.
Congratulations for this new release. ๐
Buying it now. Reading it on my time off between Christmas and New Years.
Fantastic. Marko i started reading this series when it was self published? way back when. Back then it was “just find it”. Now that its avail everywhere, is there a format where you get paid more for it? I want to buy it in the way that gets the author the most money.
I won a free copy through Goodreads. Thank you. I still have the audiobook on pre-order so you’ll be seeing some of my money eventually.
Iโm ready for this, take me away from 2020, if just for a few hours. Thank You!
Just got done, awesome work as always
Done. So… when can we expect the next one? ๐
Same… I do hope there WILL BE a next book of this series.
I’ve been looking forward to this novel since I pre-ordered that bad boy. Like Christopher up above, I’ve re-read the series about 6 times now? I’m currently re-reading Points of Impact, so I’ll force myself to finish that before devouring Orders of Battle in 4 hours.
As a side note, with 2020 being what it is, and these novels being what they are, I’ve decided to pursue my passion for writing! Fingers crossed and sleeves rolled up, eh?
Stayed up until midnight last night waiting for this to drop on my Kindle.
Eventually forced myself to go to bed at 01.30 and I’m suffering this morning after only five hours sleep but it was really worth it!
Yay!
I have a few favorite authors/series whose new releases I pre-order and eagerly anticipate.
Now I’m going to have to hurry up and finish my current read so I can start Orders of Battle.
I’ve re-read the series twice now since the last book, really excited for Orders of Battle!
