My publisher, 47North, is going to release a new edition of Terms of Enlistment at the same time they publish the sequel, Lines of Departure. It will get a new shiny cover to match the second book, and it will be available in dead tree format as well. The paperback version is available for pre-order now, for those of you who have been looking to get your hands on it:
I know it’s a bit of a wait, but at least it will be out on cellulose, and for much less than I would have had to charge for a self-published print run via Lulu.com or what have you.
Marko, I have your book on order, and they predict shipment in January.
May I recommend suggesting they get on to Terms of Enlistment: The lunchbox and Terms of Enlistment: The Flamethrower?
😀
Merchandising!!! Oooh, oooh! I want the flametrowah! (its their most popular item!)
Enjoyed the first book in kindle format before you got picked up by 47North, and am looking forward to the sequel. Will be watching for info on when you will be doing signings, since I kind of want a full set of autographed paperbacks.
Hi Marko, I was glad to see this edition to your Blog. I’ve ordered the dead tree version along with Larry Correia’s latest from Amazon. I look forward to receiving them sometime in September.
Sweet! Will have to pick that up! What does 47North have you doing for promotion?
Don’t know yet. I’m hoping “nationwide tour in a Ferrari, with Kate Beckinsale feeding me grapes as I go 120MPH on the Interstate.”
…but would you settle for Brett Butler and a ’91 Camaro?
Just finished the e-book version of “Terms of Enlistment”….LOVED IT!! I actually appreciated the bootcamp and schooling parts of it, as it gave us a glimpse into the mindset of the military, an idea of what living conditions were like outside the military, and more insight into the main characters. Lookin forward to being able to afford (ie, get my wife’s permission) to get the next one!
